Right Group Rebuke Petition Endorsing CPP Election Win
Right group yesterday called on authorities to stop circulating petition asking people to support preliminary results for last month’s national election showing a win for ruling party CPP and promising not to enjoy any demonstration. “Among widespread reports of election irregularities, this type of behavior by local authorities – putting words in the months of their constituents and coercing them to stand up to support of contested election results” said Ou Virak of the Cambodian Center for Human Right.
