Two forest activists from Kratie province received death threats on 5 April 2013 as a result of their activism and forest patrolling activities. Mr. Sorn Siyan and Ms. Mom Sakin, representatives of a community in Snuol district, have been working to put an end to illegal logging in their area for more than a decade.
