The Trial Monitoring Project (“TMP”) monitors criminal trials in Cambodia – mostly at the Phnom Penh Capital Court of First Instance, Banteay Meanchey Provincial Court, Ratanakiri Provincial Court and the Kandal Provincial Court - in order to assess their adherence to fair trial rights and due process standards as set out in international and Cambodian law, and develop practical recommendations to improve the respect of fair trial rights in Cambodia.
