Who are we?
The Cambodian Business and Human Rights Portal has been developed and implemented by the Cambodian Center for Human Rights (‘’CCHR’’) as part of the Cambodian Business and Human Rights Project, the first project in Cambodia since 2009 to address businesses’ understanding of and respect for human rights. What is the Cambodian Center for Human Rights?
CCHR is a non-political, independent, non-governmental organization that works to promote and protect democracy and respect for human rights throughout the Kingdom of Cambodia. For more information, please visit: www.cchrcambodia.org.
Why have we developed the Portal?
The Portal is designed as a space for businesses, non-governmental organizations (‘’NGOs’’), the RGC, and the public to access and share information about business and human rights in Cambodia, especially in relation to the garment industry. The success of the Portal relies on collaboration by and input from all those interested in businesses’ understanding of and respect for human rights.
