Los Seng, a news publisher of Los Seng News and owner of the online LSN TV 24 news (which broadcasts on Facebook), said that he is under pressure because of his covering of the ongoing land disputes related to the development project of the new Phnom Penh International Airport. He was warned to stop his reporting and told a case agains him was headed to court. Authorities have said they were unhappy about his reporting and Seng was told to remove himself from covering the story. Seng also said that, according to a source, Kandal governor Kong Sophorn was telling district authorities to prevent him from reporting on the case. Seng called the Information Minister Khieu Kanharith to ask for help but Kanharith said the Kandal governor had already complained to the Information Ministry about Seng, and that a case against him was heading to court.
