Grenade Attack in Phnom Penh

On 30 March 1997, unidentified men carried out a grenade attack on a peaceful political demonstration in Phnom Penh. At least 16 people were killed and over 100 were injured. The Government set up a Commission of Inquiry, which is headed by the Director-General of the National Police.
