Supreme Court Denies Bail to Activist Yorm Bopha
Phnom Penh, 27 March 2013 – The Cambodian Human Rights and Development Association(ADHOC) today condemns the decision by the Supreme Court not to grant bail to Boeung Kak activist Ms. Yorm Bopha. The Supreme Court agreed with the earlier decisions of the Phnom Penh Municipal Court and the Court of Appeal that the seriousness of the conviction against Yorm Bopha meant she should not be released on bail.
