Detail An International Criminal Court (“the Court”) is hereby established. It shall be a permanent institution and shall have the power to exercise its jurisdiction over persons for the most serious crimes of international concern, as referred to in this Statute, and shall be complementary to national criminal jurisdictions. The jurisdiction and functioning of the Court shall be governed by the provisions of this Statute. It entries into force for Cambodia in 2002.

Detail The Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on 10 December 1948. Since then, in commemoration of this important event, 10 December is recognized as "the International Human Rights Day" each year. In 1993, the Declaration of Human Rights is included in Article 31 of the Constitution of Cambodia; therefore, this Declaration constitutes as part of Cambodian law. Within the Declaration, the UN states equally the literal and ordinary terms of rights for every human being. These are your rights. You shall understand about these rights by yourselves.
