On Tuesday, June 19, at 9:00 p.m. local time, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton will unveil the 2012 Trafficking in Persons (TIP) Report at a ceremony at the U.S. Department of State. As required by the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA), the TIP Report assesses governments around the world on their efforts to combat modern slavery. The 12th installment, this year’s Report includes narratives of 186 countries and territories.
