Publication : Report

Chapter 1 of the Report acts as an introduction by providing background to human trafficking and criminal trials in Cambodia. The focus of this chapter is on recent legal developments aimed at increasing the rate of successful prosecutions for human trafficking offenders in Cambodia, including the introduction of the Law on the Suppression of Human Trafficking and Sexual Exploitation 2008 (the “LHTSE”).
