Mineral Concessions
There is an amazing amount of information online regarding mineral concessions. Information presented here does not filter out any conflicts or exchanges in ownership it merely maps all the information on one map. There needs to be a more in depth investigation to clarify the concession titles, boundaries and locations. Size in hectares which is listed in the database is true boundary values derived from mapping software when creating the shape files from GPS points thus not necessarily reflecting the actually size agreed upon in contracts between companies and the RGC.
